Portsmouth and Southampton Magician

Dave's family home is in the heart of London and although most of his performances end up being in there, he actually lives just an hour's train ride away, between the beautiful seaside towns of Portsmouth and Southampton. Perfect for a magician like Dave because although he loves the hustle and bustle of London, he likes nothing more than a stroll along the beach with his dog or to get out into the Solent for the day for a spot of fishing on his boat.

A former president of the Portsmouth and District Magic Circle, he moved to the Portsmouth, Southampton area many years ago due to his earlier military career in the Royal Marines and fell in love with it, fortunately it's close enough by train to London, that it doesn't effect his London performing career.

Dave has been lucky enough to perform in some Southampton and Portsmouth's most prestigious and beautiful venues.  He is a regular performer in some of the area's top hotspots like the Portsmouth Guildhall and the Southampton Rose bowl as well as the many restaurants and nightspots in the area such as Gunwharf Quays, Port Solent and West Quay, see some of Dave's previous clients for more information on previous venues customers.

The Military Magician

The South Coast is an area heavy in military bases, with Portsmouth being predominantly Navy, Aldershot and Dorset predominantly Army, whilst Southampton is a bit of both.

Living in this area, Dave is often invited to perform at many of the Army and Navy Mess Balls and Military Functions.  Being a former serviceman himself, Dave understands the 'service humour' only too well and usually tailors both his humour and his act to suit the military environment he is performing in.  Equally at home performing to the high ranking officers as he is with the lower non-commissioned ranks, he has performed in nearly all of the military establishments and ships between Aldershot, Southampton/Portsmouth and the Poole/Bournemouth area.
