Dave has been a keen
disciple of magic since a magician first pulled a coin from behind his
ear at the tender age of ten.
Throughout his teenage years, Dave continued to develop his interest in
magic and eventually joined the Royal Marines, where he got to travel
the world and entertain his fellow servicemen at every possible
opportunity in every corner of the globe.
But the pull of magic was
just too strong, Dave had a burning desire to entertain and eventually
decided to leave the services to pursue his dream of becoming a
professional magician.
Now fully professional,
Dave is not only a member of the prestigious Magic Circle but has also now
been promoted to an Associate Member of the Inner Magic Circle (AIMC) with
Silver Star for performance, the highest award obtainable within The
Magic Circle by examination.
Dave is also a member of The International Brotherhood of Magicians,
Equity and is a former President of the Portsmouth and District Magic
Circle; he is a former runner up in the South of England Close Up
Magician Championships and has won numerous competitions and awards for his performance
and creativity within magic.
Spending his days
rehearsing and evenings performing Dave has now been
entertaining, baffling and astounding his audiences for many years and
is considered by many to be one of the finest magicians in the country. Dave has
lots ideas and ambitions for the future too, for many
the sky is the limit, but Dave believes there is no limit, and the sky is
just the first hurdle!!!
